释义	聲譽測試 In banking law, a test used to determine whether an institution conducts a banking business. Under the test, the institution conducts a banking business if it is accepted by the community as doing so. The institution must exhibit the ‘stability, soundness and probity’ usually associated with (or at least expected from) banks: United Dominions Trust Ltd. v Kirkwood [1966] 2 QB 431. This test has been combined with the ‘cheque facility test’.
