释义	三邊抵押合約 A contractual relationship that arises between A and B when A makes a promise to B who, in reliance on that promise, enters into a contract with C, that contract being of some benefit to A. For example, where a person purchases goods on hire-purchase from a finance company on the strength of an assurance from the vendor of those goods, a collateral contract exists between the purchaser and vendor even though there is no direct contractual relationship: Andrews v Hopkinson [1957] 1 QB 229.
