| 释义 | 合理預見 The anticipation which a defendant may be deemed to have had with regard to an injury caused to a plaintiff as a result of the defendant’s tort. Such harm must be within the foresight by a reasonable person: Donoghue and Stevenson [1932] AC 562, All ER Rep 1. The standard of foresight of the reasonable man eliminates the personal equation and is independent of the idiosyncrasies of the particular person whose conduct is in question: Glasgow Corp v Muir [1943] AC 448, 2 All ER 44 (HL).
