释义	開證銀行 A bank which, usually on the instructions of a customer, issues a letter of credit to a third party (known as the beneficiary) whereby it undertakes to pay, or authorises another bank to pay, to the beneficiary or to his order or accept and pay bills of exchange drawn by him, provided that the terms and conditions of the letter of credit are complied with: Uniform Customs and Practices for Documentary Credits (UCP 500) art 2.
