| 释义 | 協助逃離 Assisting a person in lawful custody to remove himself or herself from that custody. It is an offence to aid or attempt to aid a person to escape from lawful custody: Prisons Ordinance (Cap 234) s 17(b). At common law, aiding the escape of a prisoner makes one liable as a principal: R v Allan (1841) Car & M 295. Aiding or attempting to aid escape includes conveying anything to a prisoner with intent to facilitate escape: Prisons Ordinance (Cap 234) s 17(c).
