| 释义 | 受票人的同意 A phrase expressing a drawee’s intention to sign a bill of exchange as acceptor which results in proper signature of the bill. ‘Assent by the drawee’, with signification, is essential to the drawee’s valid acceptance of a bill: Bills of Exchange Ordinance (Cap 19) s 17. ‘Assent’ requires the drawee to sign the bill as acceptor ‘as such’, with the necessary contractual intention to become bound to the personal primary liability on the bill: s 54.
