释义	推定交貨 Symbolic transfer of possession from one person to another: Sale of Goods Ordinance (Cap 26) ss 18-20. Where a person, having bought or agreed to buy goods, obtains possession of them or their documents of title with the seller’s consent, that person’s delivery of the goods or documents under any sale, pledge, or other disposition to a third party receiving them in good faith without any notice of any lien or other right of the original seller has the same effect as if the person had been a mercantile agent entrusted by the owner with the goods or documents: s 27(2). A mercantile agent’s transaction has the same validity as if the agent had been expressly authorised by the owner to act: Factors Ordinance (Cap 48) s 3. The transferor may hold possession as bailee of the transferee.
