| 释义 | 跨國企業 A business enterprise created and owned by a group of private investors which is engaged in carrying out business and commercial activities in two or more countries. A multinational corporation usually owns assets and conducts foreign trade and investment over a number of geographically, politically, and economically diverse countries. The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development Code of Conduct for Multinational Corporations, and the 1976 Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises adopted by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (‘OECD’) governments provide some principles and guidelines for multinational corporations operating especially in developing countries.
