释义 | 良心 One of the principles which forms the basis of equity jurisdiction. The courts of equity give or withhold relief according to the conscience of judges that is the sense of right or wrong of a particular case. Historically, the concept of conscience in equity is founded upon the concept of Lord Chancellor in the United Kingdom, the keeper of Royal Conscience, in the medieval period. The Lord Chancellor concerned himself with the conduct which went against the good conscience: Royal Brunei Airlines Sdn Bhd v Tan Kok Ming [1995] 2 HKC 409.
