| 释义 | 提名 To call by the name of; to call, name, entitle, designate. Constitutional law - To appoint for a duty or office. No person may be elected as the Chief Executive or a member of the Legislative council unless validly nominated: Chief Executive Election Ordinance (Cap 569) ss 17, 20(1)(d); and Legislative Council Ordinance (Cap 542) ss 40, 42A (by reference to the Electoral Affairs Commission (Electoral Procedure) (Legislative Council) Regulations (Cap 541D) reg16). Nomination is by a specified form signed, in the case of the Chief Executive election, by not less than 100 members of the Election Committee; and in the case of a Legislative council election in a geographical constituency, by at least 100 electors registered in that geographical constituency as subscribers; and in the case of a Legislative Council election in a functional constituency, by at least ten electors registered in that functional constituency as subscribers: Chief Executive Election Ordinance (Cap 569) s 16; Legislative Council (Subscribers and Election Deposit Nomination) Regulations (Cap 542C ) reg 7; and Electoral Affairs Commission (Electoral Procedure) (Legislative Council) Regulations (Cap 541D) regs 10, 11, 12.
