| 释义 | 大麥克指數／大麥克貨幣指數／巨無霸指數 A price index created by the British financial journal The Economist as a guide to the validity of exchange rates. The McDonald Big Mac hamburger is produced to an identical formula in more than 50 countries and is subject to none of the distribution and transport costs that might distort its price. Thus a Big Mac should cost the same everywhere, if the exchange rates are reflecting the price differences between countries. An international comparison indicates which currencies may be under-valued or over-valued.
