释义	藉提交送達 A form of service which is available under the rules of court in some jurisdictions, where personal service is not required and the person to be served is in default of appearance or has no address for service in the proceedings. Where such a rule exists, it operates so that the filing of the document takes effect as service of the document on the person, although personal service may nevertheless be good service: for example Whitaker v Thurston [1876] WN 232; Phillips v Kearney (1889) 58 LJ Ch 344.
