| 释义 | 生物統計學的保安儀器 A hardware and software combination that acts as a lock to computer files or property by requiring a user to supplement the password with a person’s own physical characteristic known as a physical signature. This might require the user to speak into a voice recognition system, or to place thumb prints onto a sensor for verification and validation. Other biometric security devices require the user to look into a viewing box where a light is beamed on the user’s retina. When the retina-prints (similar in complexity to thumb-prints) are matched with the database, access can be granted.
