| 释义 | 審訊通知 A formal indication by a plaintiff of intention to proceed to trial. For a criminal trial on indictment, the Registrar of the Court of First Instance acting in the exercise of its criminal jurisdiction shall endorse on or annex to the indictment and every copy delivered for service a notice of trial after the indictment was signed by the Secretary for Justice, brought to the office of the Registrar and filed in the court. Such notice shall specify the date on which the accused person shall attend before the court to answer to the indictment: Criminal Procedure Ordinance (Cap 221) s 27(1). The Registrar shall deliver or cause to be delivered to the bailiff, for service on the accused person, a copy of the indictment, with the notice of trial endorsed on the same or annexed: s 28.
