| 释义 | 受到衡平法規限 In relation to assets, affected by an equitable claim. A person who acquires property other than as a bona fide purchaser for value (especially an assignee in bankruptcy) takes the property subject to the equities, that is, subject to all the equitable claims to that property which would have prevailed against the person from whom that property was acquired: Ex parte Dumas (1754) 2 Ves Sen 582. In Hong Kong, regard must be had to the system of priority introduced by the Land Registration Ordinance (Cap 128) which has been part of the Laws of Hong Kong since 1844.
