| 释义 | 明顯 In relation to a patent, a criterion in considering whether an invention involves an inventive step. An invention shall be considered as involving an inventive step if, having regard to the state of the art, it is not obvious to a person skilled in the art: Patents Ordinance (Cap 514) s 96(1). An invention that lacks inventive step is not patentable: s 93. A patent for an invention which is not a patentable invention may be revoked: s 91(1)(a).
