释义 | 剝奪 In property law, the removal or extinguishment of rights over property. For example, a right granted which is intended to be an easement may operate as an ouster if the rights granted are too extensive, and remove the rights to possession of the property from the grantor of the right. In addition, it would be an ouster if the right of a tenant in common was deprived of or land or was being trespassed against by a second tenant in common: Main Choice Development Ltd v Convey Advertising Co Ltd [2002] 2 HKLRD F18; Supreme Honour Development Ltd v Lamaya Ltd and Li & Fung (Properties) Ltd [1990] 2 HKLR 294; [1991] 1 HKC 198.
