平等
OF-owel-equal. A sum of money payable as part of a partition of land among co-owners. Where land to be partitioned cannot be divided into portions of exactly equal value, a co-owner who receives a portion of greater value pays owelty money to co-owners receiving less valuable portions to compensate and thus equalise the partition.
