| 释义 | 碼頭 A quay, wharf or jetty of whatever description connected to and having direct access to the shore and used or intended to be used for the purposes of a pier, quay, wharf or jetty: Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance (Cap 1) s 3. It is a structure built out over the water and supported by pillars or piles, used as a landing place for ferries, boats, ships and other vessels including structures accommodating hydrofoil and jetfoil vessels: Environmental Impact Assessment Ordinance (Cap 499) sch 1. An owner or occupier of a pier, whether completed or under construction, shall, unless exempted in writing by the Director of Marine, at all times between sunset and sunrise cause a red light to be exhibited within two metres of the outer end of the pier and at a height above it of not less than three metres nor more than six metres: Shipping and Port Control Regulations (Cap 313A) reg 40.
