释义 | 放棄領土 In conflict of laws, a process by which a state cedes territory to another state. Dereliction causing loss of territory requires an intention on the part of the state to abandon control of the territory: Eastern Greenland case (1933) PCIJ Ser A/B No 53 p 47; Clipperton Island Arbitration (1931) United Nations Reports of International Arbitral Awards Vol II p 1105. In environmental law, gaining of land from shrinkage of the sea or banks of a waterway below the normal low water mark.
