释义	棄妻在衡平法上的權利 An equitable interest in land developed by Lord Denning MR in the English Court of Appeal in the 1950s, to give a deserted wife a right to possession of the matrimonial home against third parties where title was in the name of the husband only. The interest was based on a deemed licence given by the husband to the wife under the (UK) Married Women’s Property Act 1882 s 17 which was only revocable under certain circumstances. This concept was expressly overruled: National Provincial Bank v Ainsworth [1965] 2 All ER 472, AC 1175; Wong Chim Ying v Cheng Kam Wing [1990] 1 HKC 418 (HC).
