释义 | 衍生工具 A financial or investment product whose value depends on the values of underlying variables, such as commodities, interest rates, currency exchange rates, securities, or indices. Derivative types include a futures contract, a currency and interest rate swap agreement, and an option over securities or market indices (such as Hang Seng Index). Some derivatives are traded on markets, such as the Hong Kong Futures Exchange.
