| 释义 | 共同委托人 One of two or more persons who have jointly appointed an agent to act for them. The co-principals are jointly liable for the agent so appointed and may jointly sue the agent: Keay v Fenwick (1876) 1 CPD 745; Jones v Cuthbertson (1873) LR 8 QB 504. One co-principal may ratify the action of the agent without ratifying the appointment of the agent, and therefore may not be liable for a share of the commission payable to the agent: Hughes v Hughes (1971) 115 Sol Jo 911.
