| 释义 | 製作人 The person by whom the arrangements necessary for the making of the sound recording or film are undertaken: Copyright Ordinance (Cap 528) s 198(1). The author, in case of a sound recording, is taken to be the producer; and in case of a film, the producer and the principal director: s 11(2). A film is treated as a work of joint authorship unless the producer and the principal director are the same persons 18 However, the duration of copyright in the sound recording or the film does not depend on the death of the producer: s 19.
