| 释义 | 具修改作用的法例 An ordinance that amends an earlier ordinance. An amending ordinance may operate by substituting, inserting, omitting, or repealing words or provisions in the original ordinance. A later inconsistent ordinance repeals, if not expressly then by implication, an earlier ordinance. An amending ordinance that breaches the Basic Law is of no effect and invalid.
