释义	始終漂浮 Abbr – aa. In maritime law, a clause in a charterparty contract which provides that the chartered vessel must berth for loading and discharging cargo without touching the sea or river bed. Such clause may allow the ship to touch harmless ground at low tide but the words ‘load in the customary manner, always afloat’ allows the charterer to refuse to load the load to the vessel except when it is afloat: The Carlton SS Co Ltd v The Castle Mail Packets Co Ltd [1898] AC 486 (HL).
