| 释义 | 外地匯票 A bill other than an inland bill: Bills of Exchange Ordinance (Cap 19) s 4(2). A foreign bill dishonoured by non-acceptance must be duly protested for non-acceptance, and where such a bill, which has not been previously dishonoured by non-acceptance, is dishonoured by non-payment, it must be duly protested for non-payment. If it is not so protested, the drawer and indorsers are discharged: s 51(2). A foreign bill accepted as to part must be protested as to the balance: s 44(2). See also Bill of exchange; Inland bill; Protest. 除本地匯票外，均屬外地匯票：《匯票條例》（第19章）第4(2)條。外地匯票在因不承兌而不兌現後，必須就該項不承兌而妥為作出拒付證明，而以前並未曾因不承兌而不兌現的該等匯票，因不付款而不兌現時，則必須就該項不付款而妥為作出拒付證明。如並無就該等匯票如此作出拒付證明，匯票的出票人及背書人的法律責任即獲解除：第4(2)條。外地匯票如已獲部分承兌，則必須就其餘額作出拒付證明：第44(2)條。另見 Bill of exchange; Inland bill; Protest。 |
