| 释义 | 攻擊 Delivery of a blow by hand which impacts upon another’s body. It is not necessary to prove actual physical contact: an attempt to strike another without touching him is sufficient. Thus, it is an assault for one person within striking distance unlawfully to advance to another in a threatening attitude with the fist clenched and with the intention of striking him immediately: Stephens v Myers (1830) 4 C & P 349.
