释义 | 出版自由 Freedom or liberty of the press including the right to print and publish without official censorship. The ‘Newspaper rule’, a rule of practice that the courts would refuse to order a newspaper to disclose its source of information based on the principle of confidentiality, does not apply in a prima facie libel case, because in the public interest that the administration of justice should be upheld and justice requires that all wrongdoers should be brought before the court except in very special circumstances: Sham v Eastweek Publisher Ltd [1994] 1 HKC 687 (HC).
