释义 | 工業行動 A failure or refusal to work or to attend for work; or performing work in a manner different from that in which it is customarily performed; or a ban, limitation or restriction on performing work. The employees seek to force their employer to compromise or accommodate their demands such as working conditions, terms of employment, wage, fringe benefits etc by pressurising their employer by way of coordinated action. Industrial action is often intended to create disruption to the productivity of the employer and it may take the form of a strike, go slow, work to rule or overtime ban. It consists of a strike, any irregular industrial action short of a strike or a lock-out: Labour Relation Ordinance (Cap 55) s 35.
