释义 | 土地權益 1. Any legal or equitable estate in land, or restriction on the use of land, or any other right, charge, power, or privilege over or in connection with land; for example, easement, legal or equitable mortgage, and proprietary licence. It includes a profit à prendre (Conveyancing and Property Ordinance (Cap 219) ss 3-6) and an option but not a right of pre-emption (Pritchard v Briggs [1980] Ch 338, 1 All ER 294 (CA). 2. More technically, a proprietary right in land that is not an estate. It may include a share in the proceeds of sale of land held on trust under a settlement: Stromdale & Ball Ltd v Burden [1952] 1 All ER 59, Ch 223.
