| 释义 | 見證人屏障 A screen used in criminal proceedings to visibly separate the defendant or another person from a vulnerable witness such as children in sexual assault proceedings. A screen is also used where a witness has to be shielded from the public: R v Newcastle upon Tyne Coroner, ex p A (The Times, 19 January 1998, unreported).
