释义	駕駛人 Motor vehicle driver. A motorist is clearly subject to the rules of the road. He should duly comply with the statutory obligations under the Road Traffic Ordinance (Cap 374) and observe rules and guidance set out in the Road Users’ Code. Although a failure to comply with the Road Users’ Code is not in itself an offence, such failure may be taken into consideration by the court in any proceedings in determining whether the motorist was at fault.
