| 释义 | 建築工料清單 A detailed list of all the work and materials required to complete a project which is traditionally prepared by a quantity surveyor and in accordance with an agreed or a standard method of measurement. It itemises the work described in the drawings and specification. It is frequently divided into sections or elements in accordance with the rules or recommendations of standard methods of measurement: Standard Method of Measurement for Civil Engineering Works (1999 Ed) Hong Kong Government’s Civil Engineering Department’s Standards Unit. Its purpose is to put into words the obligations or services which will be required in carrying out the building project. It may not form part of the contract although be submitted to the contractor for tender. Specific words are usually required for the bill of quantities to become part of the contract document. The bill of quantities will function as an aid to tenders, enabling them to tender on common items and quantities; tender evaluation by the proprietor or employer which allows for errors to be discovered and the proprietor or employer to verify the tender price as reasonable.
