释义 | 碎股/散股/零星的一批 Incomplete, usually pertaining to a set; odds and ends. Corporations - A parcel of shares that is smaller than a marketable parcel or lot. Certain discount to its market price may be needed in order to dispose securities of odd lot. See also Marketable parcel. Employees’ Compensation - The position of a worker who has been so injured that he or she is incapable of being employed as an ordinary worker: Cardiff Corp v Hall [1911] 1 KB 1009. At common law, where a worker is an ‘odd lot’, the onus is on the employer to show that suitable special employment is available to the worker; if not, the worker is entitled to compensation on the basis that the worker is totally incapacitated.
