释义 | 永久延續 The characteristic of a company which makes it a continuing entity in law with its own identity regardless of changes in its membership. Until finally wound up and dissolved, a company exists and survives its individual members: Companies Ordinance (Cap 32) s 16(2). Thus, the company has perpetual existence or succession notwithstanding a change of membership or the death, bankruptcy, retirement or mental disorder of any member, which results from its having a separate personal identity from that of its members: s 16(2).
