| 释义 | 禁止延長／留期命令 An order providing for a further period of detention for the purpose of observation, investigation and treatment (for example, a maximum of 21 days) of a mental patient under the provisions of the Mental Health Ordinance (Cap 136) s 32. Such an order may be granted upon the application of a registered medical practitioner who has deemed that it is in the best interests of the patient to be so detained for further observation: s 32.
