| 释义 | 共同承諾人 A person to whom a promise is given, that promise being given to two or more persons. Where a promise is made to two or more co-promisees the promise may be ‘joint’, ‘joint and several’ or ‘several’. The common law presumption is that a promise to two or more is made jointly, but the question is one of intention of the parties.
