释义 | 交通 1. The movement of persons, vehicles, or ships. 2. The illegal trade in prohibited narcotic drugs involving their export, import, purchase, or sale. A number of international agreements concluded under the auspices of the United Nations seek to control the production and distribution of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, combat drug abuse and illicit traffic, and maintain the necessary administrative machinery. These include the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs signed at New York on 30 March 1961; Convention on Psychotropic Substances signed at Vienna on 21 February 1971; United Nations Convention against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances signed at Vienna on 20 December 1988. In Hong Kong, the statutory provisions of the subject matter are the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance (Cap 134), the Control of Chemicals Ordinance (Cap 145) and the Drug Trafficking (Recovery of Proceed) Ordinance (Cap 405) s 3(2)(a).
