| 释义 | 可予追討的損害賠償 The amount of damages which a plaintiff may obtain in compensation for the injury or loss caused by a defendant’s wrongful or negligent act or omission. This amount is calculated by assessing the loss caused to the plaintiff by the tort, and compensating the plaintiff financially for that loss. But not all losses give rise to liability; the extent of damages recoverable is correspondingly limited.
