释义	危險狗隻 A dog which appears to the magistrate that it is dangerous, on appeal to the magistrate. ‘Dangerous’ includes dangerous to animals: Williams v Richards [1907] 2 KB 88. There is a distinction between a dangerous dog and a ferocious dog: Keddle v Payn [1964] 1 All ER 189, 1 WLR 262 (DC). The magistrate may make an order that a dangerous dog be destroyed or kept under proper control: Dogs and Cats Ordinance (Cap 167) s 5(1). Such an order may be made either against the owner of the dog or against any person appearing to have the custody, control or care of the dog: s 5(2).
