释义	基因測試 A prescribed medical procedure used to determine the biological parents of a child. It has been held that in an application for registration as a Hong Kong resident with the right of abode and entitlement to a permanent identity card by virtue of his birth in Hong Kong, the Commissioner of Registration should arrange a DNA test for the applicant because the application was concerned with birthright: Unaj Limbu v Cmr for Registration & Anor (HCAL 136/99, unreported).
