| 释义 | 簡易程序審訊 A trial involving a judge or magistrate as the sole fact finder. Some criminal offences can be tried summarily depending on the seriousness of the case and likelihood of sentence. Less serious cases are tried summarily in the Magistrates’ Court and may carry a maximum sentence of two years.
