释义	國際金融機構 An intergovernmental institution created in response to the devastation caused by the 1939-45 war. Examples are the International Monetary Fund and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, conceived by the United Nations Monetary Financial Conference in 1944. These institutions channel, mobilise, catalyse, and administer financial resources to promote agreed upon financial objectives. They also provide a forum for continuing international discussions on world financial problems. They are subjects of, and persons in, international law.
