彼此 Lat – between themselves. A phrase commonly used in international treaties, making reservations operative ‘between the parties themselves’. A valid reservation inserted in a treaty by one party does not modify the provisions of the treaty for the other parties to the treaty inter se: Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties 1969 art 2 para 2.
