| 释义 | 閏年 A year consisting of 366 days, in which there are 29 days in February. A leap year occurs once every four years because it takes 365 ¼ days for the earth to travel around the sun once. Where a person was born on 29 February in a leap year, the relevant anniversary in any year other than a leap year shall be taken to be 1 March: Age of Majority (Related Provisions) Ordinance (Cap 410) s 5(2).
