释义	歷史文件 A document 20 or more years old produced from proper custody that is capable of being evidence as proof of itself, without the need for proof of execution: Evidence Ordinance (Cap 8) s 43. At common law the presumption applies to documents 30 or more years old: Doe v Wolley (1828) 8 B & C 22. Ancient documents may be admissible without further proof to show ancient possession or ownership: Bristow v Cormican (1878) 3 App Cas 641 (HL); c.f. Ally Town Investment Ltd v Weng Seng Heng Land InvestmentCo Ltd [1995] 3 HKC 242, [1995-1996] CPR 199 (HC).
