| 释义 | 訴狀 A written document presented before the International Court of Justice stating or representing law and fact in support of the claim or complaints made by a party. Pleadings in a case before the International Court consist of a Memorial and a Counter-Memorial: Rules of the International Court of Justice art 45. A Memorial shall contain a statement of the relevant facts, a statement of law, and the submissions. A Counter-Memorial shall contain: an admission or denial of the facts stated in the Memorial; any additional facts, if necessary; observations concerning the statement of law in the Memorial; a statement of law in answer thereto; and the submissions: art 49. See also International Court of Justice. Deeds and other instruments - A document containing material particulars of a deed for the purposes of registration. Certain information must be included in the memorial, including the date of the instrument, its nature and object, the names, shares and capacities of the parties, the description of the land affected, and the identification number of prior, relevant registered memorials: Land Registration Regulations (Cap 128A) reg 6(1). Memorials are common in land law. For example, a person entering into a conveyance, mortgage, or lease may have the dealing registered by delivering a signed and certified copy to the office of the Land Registry.
