释义	仲裁員的留置權 An arbitrator or umpire has a lien on the arbitration agreement and the award until the charges for the arbitration have been paid; but this does not extend to documents that formed the subject of the arbitration and which have been handled by the arbitrator: R v South Devon Railway Co (1850) 15 QB 1045; Ponsford v Swaine (1861) 1 John & H 433. In practice, the arbitrator will notify the parties of the amount of the charges as soon as the award has been made and will retain possession of the award until such time as they have been paid: Arbitration Ordinance (Cap 341) s 21.
