释义	代理簽名 A signature by an agent on a negotiable instrument which operates as notice that the agent has but a limited authority to sign, and the principal is only bound by such signature if the agent in so signing was acting within the actual limits of his authority: Bills of Exchange Ordinance (Cap 19) s 25; Smith v McGuire (1858) 3 H&N 554; 157 ER 589. The appropriate phrases or abbreviations are ‘by procuration’. ‘per procurationem’, ‘per proc’, ‘per pro’ pr ‘pp’.
